If you are looking for either a one-time project or an ongoing opportunity, JVC offers a variety of ways for young adults in their 20’s & 30’s to mix and mingle while participating in meaningful, hands-on volunteer experiences.

Come join a group of singles who live in the DC area and do some good in your DC, Northern Virginia, or Suburban Maryland community at the same time. We find events that need a group of ten or more volunteers and sign up as a group. … I've been volunteering with them for about four years and have always found it to be a highly rewarding experience. We will meet on the first Sunday of the month at 2:00pm to cook (and if some wine drinking and socializing happens at the same time, all the better!), and then will take the food to the shelter at 5:30, set up and serve the meal at 6:00, and finish up by about 7:30.
